Have you ever noticed how there is a musical quality to every noise? The steady thump of windshield wipers, the soft whisper of rain as it falls and the sad mournful sound of the wind are just a few that come to mind.
To me it's a reminder that no matter how isolated or alone we might feel we are all a part of the same song. We are out of harmony and clash some times. But when we play together we resonate. We sing together and it's a beautiful thing.

Wow. You know, that could be considered too deep for a Monday. I'm not sure if my brain can handle that so early in the week.
I've noticed this. "Noises" will sometimes trigger the music sensor in my head, though not always.
And on a related but less serious note - no pun intended - have I got a video clip for you. ;-)
The clip is from one of the original "Alvin And The Chipmunks" cartoons (Does the name "Mrs. Frumpington" mean anything to you?). The first four or five minutes are just the setup; after that you'll see the connection to this post.
If your PC/browser doesn't know what to do with .rm files let me know. I can either direct you to a freeware player or I can upload a (much larger) Quicktime version.
Stephanie- I think most things are too deep for Mondays.
RaJ- That cartoon was a perfect fit. I had to wait most of the afternoon and evening for the storms to clear up before I could get online to watch it but the wait was worth it.
